Networking of Social Scientists
National Centre for Agricultual Economics and Policy Research (NCAP) was
established by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in March 1991
to strengthen Agricultural Economics Research in National Agricultural Research
System (NARS) comprising ICAR organisations and state Agricultural Universities
(SAU's).
In this direction,NCAP has initiated a project Networking of Social Scientists
for effectively implementing Priority Setting Monitoring and Evaluation (PME)
both within and beyond National Agricultural Technology Project (NATP).
Goal is to establish dynamic working linkages among the social scientist
practitioners mainly Economists of PME for complementing each other's role
individually, collectively and continuously for scientifically strengthening
PME expertise/activities within the national agricultural system.
